10 Things To Do Before I Die

10 things to do before I die,
They have to get done before I lie,
In my resting place beneath the sky,
So read this with a careful eye:

Visit every continent.
Solve a murder mystery.
Watch a perfect sunrise.
Find beauty in something ugly.
Start a new tradition.
Walk in someone else's shoes.
Taste the first snowflake of winter.
Follow a rainbow.
Save a life.
Witness something unexplainable.

This is a list poem that I wrote about some things I want to accomplish before I die. There are a lot more things I want to do obviously, but these are just a few that came to mind. They aren't in any particular order of importance and the first stanza is just an opening into the list. I've used alliteration in the words "murder mystery" and imagery in the phrases "Taste the first snowflake of winter" and "follow a rainbow". I wrote this poem because almost everyone has one of these lists of things they want to do before they die, so everyone can relate to it in some way. This poem fits into my theme because it shows the nature of goals.
